It’s almost time to turn the page on 2024 and ring in 2025 with a new Echo-Lit calendar!
This year’s Home Horizons West Virginia calendar is a re-issued collection of twelve rich and textural watercolor illustrations by artist Megan Dailey. She was inspired by the gorgeous landscapes of her home state as well as the patterns of traditional Appalachian quilt work. Each illustration is in the shape of the familiar and beloved silhouette of home; pages include a snowy cabin, a pair of cardinals, spring daffodils, a solar eclipse, a grist mill, mushrooms and morels, bees, sunflowers, a sunset over a pine forest, the New River Gorge bridge, a darling opossum, and the Kanawha River valley with the State Capitol in the distance.
Calendars are available as large, hanging wall calendars or small desk calendars.
Our 11” x 17” WV wall calendar is printed on matte card stock perfect for notations to keep track of all your major occasions. Pages are bound with a twin wire spiral for easy hanging.
Our 5” x 8” desk calendars are printed on super-heavy card stock; the page surface easily accepts pencil or pen marks to note important days and events. The solid wood base is handmade by local artisans Black Locust Woodshop of upcycled WV hardwood and measures 3 3/16” x 5” x 3/4”. Customers who have a base from last year can choose our refill set which does not include a base.
